Actively promoting public interest kindergarten is an important measure to speed up the development of preschool education in our country. This study takes parents of young children as the research object, and investigates and analyzes the situation of public interest kindergarten in L District of Yantai City. The study found that the parents of children were satisfied with public interest kindergarten, with an overall satisfaction score of 3.89 (the full mark is 5). Satisfaction with kindergarten's floor area, safety concept training, life skills training and catering quality is higher, while satisfaction with catering charges, home-school communication, interest training and medical care is lower. At the same time, parents of young children pay the highest attention to the kindergarten teachers, the concept of running a kindergarten and the catering conditions.
